Community & Giving
Girdwood Brewing Company is deeply committed to making our mountain valley and Alaska a healthier, more vibrant place to live and recreate.
Our Giving Pillars
Since opening our doors in March of 2017, we have proudly supported numerous local organizations, trail builders, and charities with donations of beer, venue space, and GBC branded merchandise. While Alaska has countless worthy non-profits, we focus our charitable contributions where we can make the most meaningful impact:
1. Girdwood & Turnagain Arm Valley
Organizations, schools, volunteer emergency responders, and non-profits located directly in Girdwood and the immediate Turnagain Arm corridor.
2. Alaska Outdoor & Adventure Organizations
Avalanche safety centers, backcountry rescue teams, mountain bike trail associations, ski clubs, and public land stewardship groups.
3. Local Alaska Artists & Musicians
Showcasing local Alaskan artists on our beer cans and hosting live music concerts that keep the vibrant cultural heartbeat of Girdwood alive.
Guidelines & Exclusions:
We steer clear of controversial politics, religious causes, youth-exclusive sporting leagues (due to alcohol licensing restrictions), and individual private endeavors. Under Alaska Title 4 alcohol laws, donations must comply with all state regulations.
Request a Donation
All donation requests must be submitted at least 21 days in advance of your event or needed date to allow our review committee adequate processing time.
